When doing any sort of print design it’s imperative that you carefully consider your font choice. Fonts can say a lot about your business and also can appear quite differently depending on what devise they are viewed on and what medium they are printed on.
Always do test prints of your font options on the final medium so that you can check it as well as checking how it makes the colour look and that the sizing is appropriate.
If the font that you choose is not easily legible then you can risk losing people’s interest or frustrating people if they are looking for information on your print.
Some fonts are designed for specific purposes and if they are not used in accordance with that they can look a bit odd. For example using a font that is very script like and looks like calligraphy for advertising something like a kids soft play area may not give a fitting impression.
If you are unsure about using fonts then check out some other examples of similar businesses and test them against each other to be able to choose the most suitable option.
