When it comes to marketing there are many different ways in which you can do it. Historically most marketing was done via leaflet dropping or cold calling but with the internet taking over many businesses are now putting a lot of their marketing budget into online marketing such as direct emails.
Both leaflet dropping and emailing marketing are effectively delivering the same information just in a different way and to work out which will work best for you, you need to think carefully about your target audience. If for example you are targeting the younger generation and are promoting technology then you may want to do it via email as many young people prefer to communicate this way rather than face to face. If you have a product or service that you are targeting older people for that are less likely to be as savvy with technology then a phone call or leaflet dropped through their door may mean you get a better return on your investment.
Cost is a major factor to consider as printing can cost quite a bit of money and once the job has been printed, if there is a mistake or if you need to make changes you will have to pay to have them all printed again.
