Keep your clients up to date with a company newsletter

Many companies are using company newsletters as a marketing strategy to inform their customers about new products, changes in the business and alerting them about special offers. Without realising it, potential customers can subscribe to these newsletters which are then emailed daily, weekly or monthly. It can be annoying if they appear in a customer’s inbox too frequently with little new information so if you choose to use this strategy then monthly email newsletters are generally more effective.

When designing the newsletter, it is important that the company name and logo is prominent so that clients know immediately who it is from. The content should not be too wordy, and the font used needs to be easy to read to make it more likely that people will read the content. The initial few words should grab the readers attention for example, Special offer or What’s new? This will encourage clients to click on the email and read further.

If a company newsletter is going to be effective in bringing in new business then a referral scheme is a good strategy to use. This can be explained in the newsletter with the incentives that are being offered described which can be either money off deals or free gifts.
