Newsletters are being used by companies to electronically (some still use paper version) update customers on their business. You may find that you receive news and updates from numerous companies that you haven’t necessarily bought from any time recently, or ever before. Unfortunately this is where companies have become sneaky, with their websites usually. A lot of people don’t read the fine print when they order from a site or request information. What can happen is that you miss a box that you should have ticked, or un-ticked to say that you didn’t want to receive these from the company and third party companies. Unfortunately, it just means that you have to be more thorough. For past mistake you can usually have these stopped by contacting the company directly and requesting to be taken off their mailing list.
However not all news letters are “junk” you may find a new deal for an item or a holiday that you wanted to go on, or it might provide you with valuable information on the next thing in fashion or the new fitness regime to help lose the love handles. So don’t just delete these newsletters, someone has spent the time to make them to provide you with information, you never know, it could be useful.
