Saving costs on mailing out wedding invites

When planning a wedding, there are so many costs involved that it is important to try and reduce your send where possible. Traditionally when planning a wedding many people send out Save the Date cards first and then later on down the line Invitations and RSVP cards. If you have to pay for postage on all of these the charges can very quickly add up, but there are ways to save a bit of money. Unless our planning your wedding over twelve months in advance, you may not need to send out Save the Date cards. If you have already booked the venue and know the details, then you could just send out invitations. You also do not necessarily have to send out RSVP cards to be posted back to you, they could have an email address and phone number to allow people to contact you that way instead.

Some people are now opting to do all of their inviting online by either emailing their guests or contacting them via Social media or text message. You could even set up a simple website and send the address to everyone. This will allow them to RSVP online and you can update any details as and when needed.
