Direct marketing is a process when you directly contact existing or new customers to promote a product or service you are offering. It is a way of contacting people with a personal message rather than just a broad statement or advertisement to all.

Email Marketing – Depending on how goo the data is that you have collected, direct email marketing can be a great way to increase sales. The beauty of an email is that you personalise it right down to the individual products or services that you send out to that person based on previous items they have viewed or even added to their basket but not completed the purchase. Another great thing about email marketing is that you can track the emails. You should be able to view how many people have received the email, when they have read it, what links they clicked on and even what pages they visited on your site.
